A magnificent 2026 CERN TT Championship

This weekend, 21 and 22 August, 31 participants took part in the CERN table tennis championship. It was an excellent tournament, organized in a very friendly and sporting atmosphere, which concluded with a cocktail reception. In the final, Alex Chen defeated Philipp Böer after a thrilling fifth set, becoming the 16th CERN champion.

Philipp Böer beat Jonas Wittmeier in one of the semifinals, while in the other, Alex Chen beat Jean-Pierre Revol, President of the CERN TT club, in 5 sets.

The consolation draw was won by Lazar Cokic.
