DATE & TIME: Saturday, August 19, 2017 starting at 13:30 (The club will be open starting at 12:30)
PUBLIC DRAW OF THE GROUPS: at 13:00 at the club
LOCATION: Meyrin Table Tennis Club (Tram: 14, direction Gravière, stop: FORUMEYRIN) 2, rue de Livron, 1217 Meyrin, near the swimming pool entrance. (See map on Club Web page http://www.cern.ch/tabletennis)
FORMULA: Open to players of all levels, from beginners to elite, on 6 tables.
Each player will be guaranteed to play at least 4 matches, as players will be arranged by groups of 4, and play against each other in order to rank them before entering a main draw for the first two of the group, and a consolation draw for the others two.

Entry fee (to be collected at the club before the start): 15 CHF for Club members and summer students, 30 CHF for non CERN Club members
PRIZES:
One “prix souvenir” to each participant. Special prizes to winner, finalists and players reaching semi-finals of the main draw, winner of the consolation draw and first woman.

TRAINING:
Outdoor tables are available at restaurant # 1, # 2 and # 3 and at cafeteria of building 770 on the Prevessin site.
The CERN Table Tennis Club, with the support of the CERN Staff Association, has installed outdoor tables outside all three restaurants, and recently one near the LHC Control Center, in the cafeteria of building 770. These tables are in self-service, and everyone at CERN is encouraged to go and try their skills with the little plastic ball, and of course train to prepare for the CERN TT championship.
