CERN 2017 Champion is Imtiaz Ahmed, who defeated Pierre Grandemange in the final. He received the champion's cup from the hands of the President of the Meyrin CTT, Joan Helfer.
Alessandra Bellina won the best lady's cup, while Dosbol Baigarashev won the consolation draw.
CERN 2016 Champion is Jean-Pierre Revol, the President of the CERN Table Tennis Club, seen on the photo holding the cup, among some of the participants.
He defeated Imtiaz Ahmed in the final.

Lasha Sharmazanashvili, known as Alex, won brilliantly the CERN 2015 Championship.
He defeated in the final the defending champion Denis Mauriaud 3 sets to 1.
It was the first time in 4 years that Denis Moriaud was defeated in the final of the CERN championship.

Dear Colleagues, I am happy to announce that last week we installed a new ping-pong table at Restaurant # 3. Thanks to the help of Pierre, Plamen and ShiZhe, we could assemble the table, and even try it. The person at the bar can lend you up to 4 racquets, in exchange for your ID card (it's free of course!), which you will get back when you return the racquets. If you work on the Prevessin site, could you please advertise this, so that many people can enjoy ping-pong during their lunch breaks, etc.
